I started Aba Macarons in 2022 after leaving my job for many reasons, but the most important was my desire to start my own business. After much thought, I decided to take this leap before it was too late. I absolutely love making these sweet, delicious macarons; a skill I learned from a previous job. I take pride in creating my own buttercream, ganache, and more, and I work tirelessly to craft macarons with perfection.
I am deeply passionate about my business and fully dedicated to my customers. My goal is to share my love for these delightful treats and encourage you to include them at your next gathering or special event!

My grandson, Samuel Jr., or as I lovingly call him, Samuelito, is the reason I named this business Aba Macarons. Watching him grow has been one of the greatest joys of my life. When he first started to speak, I wanted him to call me ‘Abuelita,’ which translates to “little grandma” in Spanish. However, he couldn’t quite pronounce the word, though I could see he was trying his best. Instead, he started calling me ‘Aba,’ a shortened version that he could manage. From the very first time he said it, my heart melted. It became incredibly special to me, a term of endearment that was uniquely ours.
Inspiration Comes from Samuelito
Samuelito is such a kind and sweet little boy. His caring nature shines through in everything he does, especially when it comes to his siblings. He has a deep love for his younger brother, Hendrix, and their baby sister, Santana. He always puts them first, looking out for them and ensuring their happiness and safety. His protectiveness and generosity at such a young age are truly remarkable. Together, the three of them are a bundle of intelligence and joy, constantly amazing me with their curiosity and affection for one another.
My business is named in honor of Samuelito, who inspired its name and spirit. Beyond this, Aba has grown to symbolize love, care, and the joy of sharing meaningful moments. It’s a tribute to the love and sweetness he brings into my life, a constant reminder of the beautiful bond we share. Every time I think of Aba and the meaning it holds, it reminds me of the little boy who gave me this cherished name and the wonderful memories we continue to create together. My business is named in honor of Samuelito. He’s the inspiration behind it, and it’s only fitting that he holds a special place in its story.
